Nothing of our own: no sign-in, no forms, no cookies set by us. If you email corrections@hackerapproved.com or optout@hackerapproved.com, we keep the email only to answer it and to record the change.

To see which pages help people, we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare adds to pages as they are served. It sets no cookies and doesn’t follow anyone from site to site.

Product and ranking pages that search engines see end with one ad from Google AdSense, labelled “Advertisements”. Health and money pages, the home page and pages like this one show none. Nobody can buy a place in a ranking, a count, a summary or the badge.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. Ads that aren’t personalized still use cookies, to limit how often you see the same ad, to count ads and to catch fraud. Other ad networks that buy through Google can serve ads here too and set their own cookies; Google lists these ad technology providers. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s My Ad Center, and out of other vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info (or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe). Ads still appear, chosen from the page you’re reading rather than your history. Blocking the ad script is fine too: nothing else on the site needs it.

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google asks for your consent before it uses cookies for ads.
