## What people warn about

([source](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49090335)) "USB-C would suck. Part of the purpose of that proprietary plug is that it's very water resistant and very durable." ([source](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49087302)) ""non-submersible" - this right away excludes it from even considering for my use." ([source](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49089531))
- Not yet a usable everyday watch (2 comments): "Better than nothing, i guess, but not quite what I was hoping for." ([source](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49094472)) "i love the repairability but it should be a usable watch as well" ([source](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49096387))

([source](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49087291)) "The title is misleading at least, to compete with garmin you need the similar offering" ([source](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49087749))
- Spare parts and company risk (2 comments): "not having spare parts immediately available is a big misstep" ([source](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49091628)) "So this one breaks when it breaks and the company is no more." ([source](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49096513))
