8 people recommended Lenovo ThinkPad X200 in Hacker News comments, 4 had mixed feelings and none criticized it, November 2025 to October 2026. It was recommended in 4 of 12 months, in 5 threads. It does not meet the Hacker Approved badge rule.

**Verdict:** Owners keep it running for years, praising its keyboard and repairability; the main caveat is that it feels dated and parts are wearing out.
