# Sun Clock

17 Hacker News commenters recommended Sun Clock and 4 criticized it, November 2025 to November 2026. It was recommended in 4 of 13 months. It meets the Hacker Approved badge rule.

**Verdict:** Animated clock that tracks the sun through the day, works offline, and fits Apple Watch. Caveat: browser location detection is often wrong.

## Why people recommend it

- Clean, well-designed interface (3 comments): "Very nifty little app. It is such a standard thing nowadays, but the dynamic UI rescaling (to a point anyway) makes it nice to stick on the side and watch as the sun goes down."
