Apple Pro Display XDR

What hackers pick instead

• Apple Studio DisplayPraised for sharp text, high pixel density, and color accuracy, and for working smoothly with Macs. Main caveat: it is expensive and the standard model has a 60Hz refresh rate.65recommend
• Dell UltraSharp 52 Thunderbolt Hub MonitorPeople recommend it for native resolution with no scaling, a built-in KVM for switching between systems, and text sharp enough for all-day reading. Critics say the 52-inch size is hard on ergonomic viewing.27recommend
• LG UltraFine Evo 6K monitorRecommended for sharp 6K text and productivity use, but critics most often report uneven brightness, color uniformity, and units that failed.17recommend
• LG UltraFine 5KOwners praise its sharp 5K display and long life, but several report failing rear USB ports and display problems with some Mac setups.16recommend
• Dell UltraSharp monitorPeople recommend Dell UltraSharp monitors for calibrated panels that are comfortable for long sessions and reliable over years.15recommend
