Finds interesting personal sites quickly
A tiny, decentralised tool that sends you to random personal websites of the small web, so you can find interesting pages quickly. Critics mostly report errors and page-reload loops in some browsers.
Helps find interesting blogs
Curated directory of personal blogs that people use to discover independent writing and the small web. Caveat: submissions get no feedback and the review process is opaque.
Quiet, personal sites instead of SEO
A Hacker News-style front page for personal blogs, ranked by votes from real people, with RSS support that people find calmer than social feeds. Critics say it still surfaces many rants and some low-quality posts.

How we rank
Rank is the number of separate people who recommend a product in a Hacker News comment over the past year. Someone who praises the same blog directory in five threads counts once.
The badge goes to blog directories that at least 10 people recommend, with recommenders outnumbering critics at least 2 to 1, recommended in at least 4 of the 13 months.
Rankings are never for sale. We may earn a commission when you buy through our links. It never changes the order.
